Etihad Airways Business Class Review

Hi,

I spent my summer vacation in Istanbul, Turkey.

I took Etihad Airways and like to share my experience with you.

I sat on the red seat. 

Etihad Airways Pearl Diamond Business class has single seat. Single seat means I sit alone in the line. No next seat. 

It is quite convenient for solo traveler. I liked it.

1. 9/4 : Seoul to Istanbul

Boeing777-200LR from Seoul to Abu-Dhabi.
Airbus A330-300 from Abu-Dhabi to Istanbul.

2. 9/14 : Istanbul to Seoul

Airbus A330-300 from Istanbul to Abu Dhabi.

Airbus A340-600 from Abu-Dhabi to Seoul.

3. The interior

Seat in Business class was overall fine. 

Airbus A340-600 seat was equipped with Massage function. It was quite impressive. I used it and it was good.

4. The food 

Food service was not impressive at all. Especially it was the worst quality of fruits I've ever had in flights in my whole life.

And also Bibimbap was so bad but noted that they tried to care for Korean passengers who were going back to Seoul but really it needed 

a lot of improvements. 

Quality of wine was a bit better than food. 

5. Etihad Airways Business Lounge

When you travel with Etihad, you need to transit flight in Abu-Dhabi.

Abu-Dhabi airport lacks enough ladies toilets. Unless you are flying in Business or First class, it will not be pleasant.

Also airport was small and not enough chair or even no chairs at all near gates so I really didn't like it.

On the way to Istanbul, there were too many people in the Lounge and extremely crowded and very uncomfortable. I really missed Turkish airline Business Lounge I used last time.

1 good thing was....the sushi I could have in Business Lounge on my way back to Seoul.

6. Overall Service.

Flight attendants' service level was low.

Sometimes I asked 1 thing, and she came back with different thing. They really needed more training and pay more attention to passengers.

If Etihad Airways doesn't have clear price advantage and seats confirmation, I recommend you could take other airlines.
